Calculator

The calculator starts blank. Load example data to see the workflow, or enter your own values for an immediate estimate.

Loan mode is selected. It combines loan type, monthly interest, term, optional interest levies, origination fee and insurance/other upfront costs.
Formatting only. Changing this selection does not convert the numeric values using exchange rates.
Loan type changes only the descriptive context in this global version. Optional interest-tax/levy fields default to 0%; enter rates only if they actually apply to your loan. Origination fee also defaults to 0%.
Enter the loan amount or purchase amount.
Enter the monthly rate, for example 1.25. Pasted comma-decimal values such as 1,25 are also recognized.
Enter the total term as a whole number of months. This global calculator does not enforce country- or lender-specific legal term limits; check the terms that apply to your loan.
If entered, the result also shows the monthly payment as a share of income.
Defaults to 0%. In this model the primary levy is applied to periodic interest and to the origination fee; enter a value only when that treatment matches your loan.
Defaults to 0%. This additional levy is applied to periodic interest only; enter a value only when that treatment matches your loan.
Enter an upfront origination fee as a percentage of principal if your lender charges one. Defaults to 0%.
Add insurance, documentation or other upfront costs if applicable.
Add a personal note; it will be included in the interpretation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are a loan payment and an installment purchase the same thing?

The payment math can be similar, but loan mode also lets you model optional interest levies, origination fees and insurance. Installment mode focuses more on down payment, financing rate, extra fees and the difference from a cash price.

Will the early-payoff estimate exactly match my lender’s official payoff quote?

No. This tool provides an estimate. Your lender’s current payoff quote can include day-specific interest, contract terms, fees or other adjustments, so use the official quote for a final decision.

Why is monthly income optional?

Income helps interpret payment pressure, but the core payment and cost calculations still work without it.
